Triple Fin Intumescent Strip
Pyroplex’s triple fin range is fire tested to BS 476: Part 22: 1987 and smoke tested in accordance with BS 476: Part 31: 1987.
On top of this, it gives customers an acoustic edge over traditional fire and smoke seals by utilising three fins which also prevents noise transference. Fins are sometimes preferred over brush pile for this reason, as well as being more favourable in environments like hospitals, computer rooms and food preparation areas.
Thermally-fused fins ensure greater performance and significantly decrease the chance of delamination.
