This circular intumescent fire block is up to 60 minutes fire rated in accordance with British Standard BS 476 Part 20:22.
When installing ventilation, air conditioning, ductwork or simply cutting holes for ventilation within a compartment wall the integrity of the building must be retained. Fire blocks offer a low maintenance, low cost answer to this application giving up to 60 minutes* integrity in accordance to BS 476 parts 20:22 together with giving excellent free air flow during normal use. They have no moving parts hence need no regular maintenance apart from inspection to ensure they have not been damaged.
